Magazine Discussion: Loss, Grief, Healing—The Journey

Join us on Thursday, September 8, 2022, at 7 PM ET/ 4 PM PT, when Hadassah Magazine Executive Editor Lisa Hostein moderates a discussion on moving from profound sorrow to meaningful healing in advance of a new Jewish year. Panelists will include Pulitzer Prize-winning author Kathryn Schulz, whose recent memoir, Lost & Found, weaves the story of her beloved father’s death with one of meeting the love of her life; Rebecca Soffer, CEO and co-founder of the influential resource Modern Loss, whose The Modern Loss Handbook offers some of the wisdom gained by the experience of losing her parents at a young age; and writer Hope Edelman, whose most recent work, The AfterGrief, is her sixth title, beginning with the No. 1 New York Times best seller Motherless Daughters, that examines the universe of sorrow and healing.
