Hadassah Florida’s Conference at Sea aboard the Celebrity Reflection, which set sail from January 9 to 12, raised over $50,000. Onboard were 180 members, associates and supporters enjoying Hadassah’s first-ever conference on a cruise ship. 

Led by Conference Advisor Diane Taub and Conference Chair Jill Welsh Davis, the schedule of events included sessions with local and national leaders, such as Hadassah National President Carol Ann Schwartz, Treasurer Viviane Kovacs, Vice President Deborah Wiskind, Youth Aliyah Chair Michele Rubin and Rhoda Smolow, immediate past national president.

After dancing at a party on Saturday night, where some enjoyed the specialty cocktail Henrietta’s Dream—a tropical drink made with blue curacao, rum and coconut and other mixings—conference-goers had one-on-one time with leaders on Sunday morning, then spent the afternoon in impactful sessions inspired by Hadassah’s mission. Conference cruisers are looking forward to the next Hadassah sailing!
