Astronaut Meir recommends staying mentally and physically healthy by sticking to regular routines, exercising and keeping in contact with friends and family.

The mission will go to the International Space Station, where Meir will perform a range of physiological, medical and chemistry experiments.

Three Jewish women have already traveled to space. Astronaut Jessica Meir plans to be the fourth.
