Beginning next year, members will be able to sign up through Hadassah for a program that combines PJ Library books with Hadassah-coordinated discussion groups.
PJ Library has mailed nearly 12 million books since 2005 and runs programs in 12 countries, transforming an industry as it redefines Jewish books to be more diverse.
The inspiration for Stein's novel about the Six-Day War came from her late mother, who had lamented the lack of books about Israel for 8- to 13-year-olds.
