Talia Carner, Author of ‘The Boy with the Star Tattoo’
One Book, One Hadassah’s second in person event, livestreamed from Hadassah’s National Conference in Las Vegas, was a success! Watch Israeli-born master storyteller Talia Carner in conversation with Hadassah Magazine Executive Editor Lisa Hostein as they discuss Carner’s The Boy with the Star Tattoo.
The historical epic weaves together the rescue of Holocaust-era Jewish orphans by Youth Aliyah with a daring military mission in the early days of the Jewish state. Carner also talked about her pro-Israel and women’s rights advocacy and shared her insights on writing a Zionist book in today’s publishing world.

I have read 4 of Talia’s books starting with The Third Daughter.l liked each one. I can tell that she does a lot of research.I like that she is very generous when she discusses her books. They are fiction
but there is much reality among the fiction.
I usually don’t read a second book by the same author.
